Dream Return For Jess
Jessica Ennis says her full return to competitive action at the IAAF Combined Events Challenge in Italy was 'better than expected'.

Heptathlete Jess, who trains at the English Institute of Sport - Sheffield (EIS Sheffield), spoke to the BBC Olympic Dreams series after delivering a career-best heptathlon display, setting a meeting record of 6,587 points and smashing her previous best by 118.

She is now preparing for the World Championships in August after qualifying for a spot in Berlin in what was her first heptathlon back after 12 months out with an injured foot.

The 23-year-old, who suffered a stress fracture to her foot last summer before the Beijing Olympics, has completed a full rehabilitation programme and been training hard at EIS Sheffield over the winter.
