SIV All Set for Confex 2010

Sheffield’s unique and award winning conference and events offer will be showcased to thousands of delegates at Europe’s leading industry show.

Sheffield International Venues (SIV) Conferencing and Events has once again teamed up with Yorkshire South Tourism to profile the city’s diverse portfolio of facilities at the 2010 Confex exhibition

City Hall Sheffield, Ponds Forge Sheffield and Don Valley Sheffield are just some of the leading venues that make up the SIV Conferencing & Events brand, which boasts one of the widest choices of event spaces in the UK.

Confex is Europe’s leading event for event organisers and takes place at Earl’s Court, London, from February 23 – 25.

Andy Carnall, SIV’s Golf Manager, will be hosting a special competition of skill to win a VIP trip and will also introduce the concept of night golf to delegates.

Dominic Stokes, General Manager of SIV Conferencing and Events, said “This year’s Confex focuses on venues bursting with inspiration and with more and more conference and corporate event organisers taking advantage of unique environments such as sporting venues and Olympic training grounds, SIV offers the perfect portfolio.

SIV Conferencing and Events will also profile its portfolio at the Conference and Hospitality Show 2010, the new Northern-based event for venues and suppliers, on March 18 at the Royal Armouries, Leeds.
