As part of the Alight festival, Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus, conducted by Darius Battiwalla will perform a programme of music with unusual combinations of instruments. The programme will include: Saint-Saens - Quam Dilecta for harp, organ and choir; Janacek - Our Father for organ, harp, chorus and tenor soloist; Schumann: Hunting songs for men's chorus and horns; Brahms - 4 songs for women's chorus, harp, and 2 horns and the world premiere of Yaron Hollander’s - Everyone Sang for 2 horns, strings, organ and choir.
