Radford Swimming Club was founded between the first and second world wars to teach children how to swim and allow them the chance to compete in galas.

From those early days the club has developed into a competitive club within Nottinghamshire, the Midland District and nationally. It has produced some fine swimmers and continues to do so to this day.
