Kalcrest Sheffield Steeldogs v Bracknell Bees - 31st March, 7.30pm, iceSheffield
Steeldogs have another busy week ahead of them as they travel to Guildford to face the Flames in the 2nd leg of the Premier Cup on Wednesday, followed by Bracknell Bees on Saturday 31st March in the final home game English Premier League regular season. Steeldogs then have a quick return to the Spectrum on Sunday to meet the Flames for one last visit.
The Cup Final will be a hard fought game but the Steeldogs will need to be up and running again on Saturday to beat Bracknell to keep hold of their current 3rd League place in readiness for the Quarter-Final Play-offs over Easter weekend.
The Premier league is so tight this year that seven of the eight teams are still jostling for end of season positions so most play-off opponents are unlikely to be known till the end of the weekend.
The Bees will be buzzing into iceSheffield as they are still fighting to extend their season into the Play-offs. They snatched their 8th play-off position back off Peterborough after gaining 4 points last weekend, but the Phantoms are snapping on their heels with a single point difference.
So it should be a great battle for the points between these two teams as all but one of this season's games have been decided by one goal, OT or a penalty shoot out.
Please come and support this year's high achieving Sheffield Steeldogs on Saturday, 7.30pm at iceSheffield. Tickets available on the door from 6.30pm.
Adult £9.00, Concession £6.50, Child £3.50, Under 8's Free, Family £20.00
