Hatton Promotions will be returning to Sheffield when they stage a night of Championship boxing.

Heading the Sky Sports televised bill is Gary Buckland who will be making the first defence of his British super-featherweight title against Middlesbrough's Paul Truscott. The 25 year old Welshman thrilled fans in the Steel City when he took the title from Gary Sykes earlier this year in one of the best fights in 2011.

Hatton Promotions head Ricky Hatton said 'Gary Buckland tops this card and if his first defence has half the excitement of the Sykes fight, fans will be happy.'

Also on the cards is a European title fight between Ryan Rhodes and Sergey Rabchenko who meet to claim the vacant European light-middleweight title.

Rhodes will be fighting in front of a home crowd at Ponds Forge as he strives to win back his old crown. Belarussian Rabchenko, 25, who spends much of his time training in Manchester, is unbeaten in 19 fights - with 14 victories inside the distance. Ryan, 35, won the title by beating his friend Jamie Moore in October 2009 in a memorable fight, but was stripped after one defence because of injury. Last June, Rhodes stepped up to world level and was stopped in the 12th round by Mexican star Saul Alvarez in a WBC title challenge.

On the undercard, Sheffield heavyweight Richard Towers will have his first ten rounder and the event will also include unbeaten local fighters Adam Etches and Scott Jenkins.
